Adaptive Tennis is Coming to Rome!
CVTA and the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College are proud to partner in launching an Adaptive Tennis Program, with a planned debut in Spring 2027.
Adaptive Tennis is designed to make the game accessible for players of all ages and abilities. Through modified equipment, court sizes, teaching methods, and inclusive programming, participants with intellectual, developmental, physical, sensory, or other disabilities can experience the fun, fitness, and community that tennis provides. The goal is simple: everyone deserves the opportunity to play.
Our upcoming program will focus on creating a welcoming environment where athletes can build skills, confidence, friendships, and a lifelong love of tennis. Whether you’re picking up a racquet for the first time or returning to the court, you’ll be part of a supportive tennis community.
Volunteers Needed
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make this program a success. No tennis experience is required—just a willingness to encourage, support, and have fun alongside our athletes. Coaches, players, students, families, and community members are all encouraged to get involved.
More details, registration information, and volunteer opportunities will be announced as we prepare for our Spring 2027 launch.
