Each Tennis Apprentice session will transition you into a USTA league, and guess what? Your league entry fee and USTA membership is included in the Tennis Apprentice cost! So, grab your racket and join us on the court for some exciting tennis action!

Rome Tennis Center 2026
MONDAYS 6:00-7:30pm
This is an entry level program for beginners. We use an accelerated play-based methodology to get you to play the game in the quickest time possible in a fun, friendly environment. Tennis 101 is recommended as a 2-month program that focuses on a different technical/tactical theme every month. You can start at any time as it is a rolling program. After 2 months you will be ready for our adult clinics and social mixers. Module 1 focuses on developing tracking skills at the net and from the back court. Module 2 focuses on defensive volleys and overheads. Module 3 focuses on serve and return patterns. Module 4 focuses on offensive volleys and overheads. This program is the perfect way to meet new tennis players in the same position as you. Come on out and try the sport of a lifetime.
After the first month, players will be eligible for all USTA benefits listed above – the second month is optional, but Rome Tennis Center highly recommends enrolling to continue advancing in the sport.
